NTSB Not Pleased with Tesla’s release of fatal crash information

The Tesla Model X that crashed into a highway barrier in California on March 23 had its semi-autonomous Autopilot mode activated moments before the fatal accident, Tesla said.

Federal investigators with the National Transportation Safety Board were concerned with Tesla’s explanation of the fatal crash, saying they were “unhappy” the company had released information regarding the accident while the investigation is ongoing.
