Toyota will invest $500 million into Uber, according to a new report from The Wall Street Journal. Toyota plans to focus its investment on Uber’s autonomous vehicle efforts, which have been in the doldrums recently.
According to Business Insider, Uber and Toyota have previously been in talks about both self-driving technology and more-general opportunities.
